LED HIGH BAYS VS METAL HALIDE HIGH BAYS

Metal halide lights produce light through the process of having an electric arch within various gaseous metal halides (compounds of metal including iodine and bromine) along with vapourised mercury.

Metal halide lights require a warm-up period to reach full brightness, have a much shorter lifespan and are much less energy-efficient than the equivalent LED high bay.

Because LED high bays are solid-state semiconductor technology, they can be turned on and operate at full brightness instantly and also be turned off and on again without any delay in the light coming back on.

They have a much longer lifespan and are around 50%-60% cheaper to run than the equivalent metal halide light.

LED high bays not only save you money on your lighting bills compared to metal halides, they can also save time and money on replacing what are generally hard-to-reach lights.
